Stone Motors Softail Heritage & Yamaha Roadstar
OZBIKERS—Please find attached photos of my Softail Heritage. It’s a ’96 model, original factory colour, custom seat, apehangers, lowered suspension, white wall tires, Vance & Hines pipes, polished forks, and chrome accessories/covers.
I thought you might like to see some photos of my business partner’s bike too. It’s a Yamaha Roadstar with lotsa nice goodies. I know she ain’t a Harley but she ain’t half bad for a Japper. At least I would like to know your opinion.
Stone Motors is a small mechanical workshop located in the Brisbane suburb of Stafford. Owned and operated by my business partner, Ray, and myself. The name came about from a couple of things, firstly, both myself and Ray are proud Kawasaki Z owners, and also, we are in Stone Street, and obviously, having been motorcyclists most of our lives, we admire the movie Stone and customised our Zeds to resemble the Stone bikes (you can see our old Kwakas in one of the pics).
At our shop we primarily work on cars but we do work on bikes too, and are licensed to issue safety certificates and modification plates for bikes as well as cars.
MARK, Stone Motors, 25 Stone Street, Stafford Qld 4053.
Outstanding bikes. I remember Ray looked after me with my 1991 FXSTC years ago. Good times.
