Re-Invented Knucklehead Style Motors
What is it about these reproduction Knucklehead motors? Is it the cool appearance or the great performance? We think both.
S&S and Flathead Power have invested their combined knowledge and experience to come up with these Knucklehead style motors. Expect real performance with modern-day dependability from these 93-cubic-inch (1524 cc) Knucklehead motors. All critical parts of the original Knucklehead motor are redesigned. The sprocket side now has the proven splined sprocket shaft with Timken sprocket shaft bearing. Also the lower ‘tin’ valve covers are now made of die-cast aluminium with a gasket to provide a positive seal.
There are two engines to choose from, Generator style and Generator/Alternator style. The Generator style fits in stock and stock style Knucklehead frames with a 1954—1965 style inner-primary-housing and primary chain sprocket. The Alternator/Generator style engines can be used with most modern inner primaries, belt drives, gearboxes and custom frames.
The KN93 series engines come assembled and complete with an S&S Super E carburetor and S&S Super Stock ignition and feature a one-year warranty.
