Gringo Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail

THIS IS my third Harley-Davidson. I also currently have a 1986 Heritage Softail also done up as a Cholo bike; a 2016 Breakout and a 1970 Triumph Tiger. My mate Paul nicknamed me ‘Gringo’ so the name sort of stuck with the bike as well. I’ve always loved the Mexican Cholo style bikes. They are so cool!
I bought the bike from Rory at McKenzie’s Gas Garage. It has the 110 cu upgrade, with 259e Screamin’ Eagle cams, a USA Figure Machine air cleaner set up, DNA 60-spoke rims, 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel. The pipes are Bassani Fishtails.
The bars are Carlini 14-inch Gangsta Apes with all internal wiring and a hydraulic clutch. I also have a Carlini mirror which set me back $350 on its own!
The rear fender has a 7-inch stretch and a 3-inch stretch on the front fender. It has a custom swing-arm, Shotgun rear air ride and American front air pistons.
Nathan at Livin’ Loco did an awesome job of the custom paint.
My bike was detailed for the shoot by Melissa at Miss Detail. She did a great job. I’d like to thank Rory from McKenzie’s Gas Garage; he built the bike. Rory always puts out top quality bikes and is a Harley-Davidson trained mechanic. I’d like to also thank my wife, Lisa, for letting me buy ‘Gringo’. This bike turns heads everywhere I ride. Random people walk up and start asking questions about it. I’m proud to call it my own.
