Cool Impracticable Bobber

OZBIKE—My build started after owning a new Harley-Davidson for a few years and not getting much time to go on rides due to work, family, etc, etc. I thought it was a shame to have a shiny new Harley-Davidson sitting in the garage not being used much so I sold it. But it wasn’t long till I got the itch that needed to be scratched. So I thought, well, I’ll build myself a cool, rigid, impracticable bobber!

I got myself a unregistered, run-down, 1971 Harley which I stripped down. After a few frame mods, I got myself a TP 114 motor, three-inch open primary from the USA among a few other parts. The mock-up and build was supposed to take 12 months but ended up being three-and-a-half years.

I did most of the build myself except paint and wiring. For a first-time-build, I am happy with the outcome and she rides quite nice for a rigid bobber.
